Pisi Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how JULEE INTERACTIVE PTY LTD (ABN 12 703 936 832) ("Pisi", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use the Pisi app. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. What we collect

Information you give us:

  • Account details: your name, username, email address, password (stored encrypted, we can't see it) and your confirmation that you are 18 or older.
  • Profile details: your photo and bio.
  • Messages and photos you send in chats, including group chats.
  • Live streams you host, comments you write and gifts you send or receive.
  • Reports you make, people you block and people you follow.
  • Payout details if you become a creator, such as your legal name, bank details, ABN and identity documents.

Information collected automatically:

  • When you read a chat, when you're typing, and who is watching a live (to show "Seen", "typing…" and viewer counts).
  • Your coin balance, diamond balance and a record of every coin and diamond change.
  • Device and technical information such as app version, device type, error logs and approximate time zone.

Information from others:

  • Apple or Google tell us (through our payment provider) when you buy coins. We never see your card details.
  • Other users may report you or mention you in messages.

2. Why we use it

  • To create and run your account, and to let you chat, follow, go live and send gifts.
  • To keep coin, gift and diamond records accurate, and to pay creators.
  • To keep Pisi safe: reviewing reports, blocking abuse, preventing fraud, enforcing our Terms and Community Guidelines, and checking ages.
  • To fix problems and improve Pisi.
  • To contact you about your account, safety and important changes.
  • To meet our legal obligations, including tax and record-keeping laws.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your messages for advertising.

3. Who can see your information

  • Everyone logged in to Pisi can see your name, username, photo, bio, follower counts and whether you're live.
  • People in a chat can see the messages and photos sent in that chat. Chat photos are stored privately and only shown to members of that chat.
  • Anyone watching a live can see the host's stream and everyone's comments and gifts in that live.
  • Our administrators can see reported content so they can deal with reports.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run Pisi, and only as much as they need:

  • Supabase, which hosts our database, login system and file storage (our database is located in Sydney, Australia).
  • Expo, which helps us build and update the app.
  • When live video and payments are switched on: Agora (live video and audio), RevenueCat (coin purchase records) and Apple or Google (payments).
  • Payment and identity verification providers, if you become a creator.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants.
  • Police, regulators or courts, where the law requires or allows it, or to protect someone's safety.

5. Information sent overseas

Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard similar to the Australian Privacy Principles, and we take reasonable steps to make sure they do.

6. How we protect it

  • Information is sent over encrypted connections.
  • Access is controlled so people can only see what they're allowed to see (for example, only chat members can read a chat).
  • Passwords are stored encrypted.

No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as the law requires.

7. How long we keep it

  • We keep your information while your account is open.
  • When you delete your account, we remove your login, profile photo, bio, follows and chat memberships, and your profile is shown as "Deleted user". Messages you already sent stay in other people's chats under "Deleted user".
  • We keep coin, gift, diamond and payout records for at least 5 years because tax and financial laws require it.
  • We may keep information connected to reports, bans or legal claims for as long as needed to deal with them.

8. Your choices and rights

  • You can see and change your profile at any time in the Me tab.
  • You can delete your account in the Me tab.
  • You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us through our Support page. We'll reply within 30 days.
  • You can block people and report content in the app.

9. Children

Pisi is only for people 18 and over. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we will close it. If you believe a child is using Pisi, please report the account or contact us through our Support page.

10. Complaints

If you have a privacy complaint, contact us through our Support page and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We'll tell you in the app about important changes.
