Pisi Virtual Items Policy
This policy explains how coins, gifts and diamonds work on Pisi. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Coins
- Coins let you send gifts to people during lives.
- You buy coins inside the app through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST.
- When you buy coins, you get a personal, limited licence to use them on Pisi. Coins are not money, have no cash value, and are not your property.
- Coins can't be exchanged back for money, transferred to another account, or sold or traded outside Pisi.
- Coins don't expire while your account is open.
2. Gifts
- Each gift costs a set number of coins, shown in the gift picker.
- When you send a gift, the coins are taken from your balance straight away and the gift is final. Gifts can't be cancelled or returned.
- Sending a gift doesn't buy you anything from the person you send it to, and doesn't entitle you to any content, service or special treatment.
- You can't send gifts to yourself, to someone who has blocked you, or in a live that has ended.
3. Diamonds
- When someone sends you a gift, you receive diamonds: 1 diamond for every coin the gift cost.
- Diamonds show what you've earned from gifts. They are not money and can't be transferred.
4. Creator payouts
- You may be able to exchange diamonds for Australian dollars once you reach the minimum payout (currently 10,000 diamonds).
- The current rate is A$0.70 for every 100 diamonds. We may change the rate or minimum, and we'll tell you in the app before a change applies to future payouts.
- Before your first payout you must complete our identity and payment checks.
- Diamonds may need to wait up to 30 days after you receive them before they can be paid out, to allow for refunds and fraud checks.
- You are responsible for any tax on payouts.
- We may hold, reduce or cancel payouts linked to fraud, refunds, chargebacks, or breaches of our Terms or Community Guidelines.
5. Refunds
- Coin purchases are processed by Apple or Google. To ask for a refund, use Apple's or Google's refund process (for Apple, visit reportaproblem.apple.com).
- If a purchase is refunded or charged back, we may remove the matching coins from your balance. If you've already spent them, we may reverse the diamonds they created, limit your account, or close it.
- Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If coins don't work as they should because of a problem on our side, contact us through our Support page and we'll fix it.
6. If your account closes
- If you delete your account, any coins and unpaid diamonds left in it are lost.
- If we ban your account for breaking our rules, unused coins and unpaid diamonds may be lost, unless the law says otherwise.
- If we ever close Pisi, we'll give you reasonable notice and explain what happens to remaining coins and diamonds.
